We are very pleased to introduce you our new dentist “Sherif Kamel”
High St Dental Care are delighted to welcome Sherif Kamel to the team! He holds a number of qualifications and can carry out a wide range of treatments, including dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. We are all looking forward to working with him and are excited about what the future holds for our patients with Sherif on board.
Sherif Kamel BDS, MFDS RSCed, MSc Implants (Manc)
Sherif qualified as a dentist in 2005 in Cairo, Egypt. In 2007, he completed his examinations and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He also holds a clinical master’s degree in dental implants from the University of Manchester.
Sherif was awarded an international research scholar position at the University of Texas, Houston, USA. He has co-authored a textbook on Cone Beam CT, and has several publication in peer-reviewed journals. Sherif also teaches and mentors junior dentists – he holds a part-time position at a university hospital as a speciality doctor in oral surgery.

Sherif enjoys treating patients and can work with you to find the right solutions for your health, appearance and lifestyle. He has extensive experience in oral surgery and holds a postgraduate certificate in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, so he has a range of treatment options he can offer.
As an experienced dentist, Sherif is very good at comforting anxious patients and regularly treats those with fears and phobias. He will make sure your treatment is comfortable and stress free.
Outside of work…
…Sherif enjoys spending time with his family, swimming, and playing squash. He also enjoys travelling and exploring new places, learning about different cultures.
