High Street Dental Care is celebrating after being awarded membership to a national compliance scheme.

We have become a member of the Confederation of Dental Employers (CODE) Quality Practice Scheme.

This Quality Practice Scheme is for practices who meet the CODE Total Quality Management Standards. The standards are tough and practices need to show that the team works together towards patient safety, care and continuous quality improvement.

To gain membership the practice needs to meet the requirements relating to dentistry including those from the NHS, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the Department of Health and employment law regulations. It also has to show that it is running a quality improvement programme and is in ongoing consultation and training with the team.

This process has brought the team together and has made us focus better to ensure we deliver quality care to our patients.
